After many miracles happened in Ephesus, Demetrius and the makers of silver idols fomented a large mob to join a protest of uncertain purpose.

July 30, 2017 "The Power of the Gospel of Christ" – Acts 19:8-20
Through Paul, God performed miracles of healing which led many Ephesians to confession, repentance, and salvation, and also led to widespread belief in the Lord Jesus.

As Paul retraced his path through Galatia and Phrygia, he was able to correct misunderstandings and teach the truths about Jesus and His offer of salvation.

At this time in Paul's ministry, he really needed help. After some Jews resisted his teachings, a vision from the Lord encouraged him to continue and also promised protection.
